NOTE IN THE BACKGROUND, SOUTH SHORE HOLIDAY FLORIST.

REMEMBER FLOWER DAY? ONCE EACH WEEK ON THE WAY HOME FROM BRADWELL, PRESTON UNEY AND I WOULD STOP AND PICK UP A FREE FLOWER.

I SUPPOSE IT WAS OLD STOCK, BUT MY MOTHER CERTAINLY WAS PLEASED.

  1. Thank you so mouch for your website. It brought back so many memories. Yes, I remember FREE FLOWER DAY and so many other things. I lived at 7830 Essex for many many years. My grandparents lived in a very fancy apartment at 7000 S. Shore Drive overlooking the Country Club. I went to Bradwell and would have graduated in 69 but we moved in 67.
Again, thank you for the postings.
    Brad B.
