  1. John, I just wanted to thank you for sharing all of your memories with us…..I cannot tell you how nice it is to see photos of the old neighborhood…..I am so sorry that I didn’t take photos of our neighborhood, but also of the interior of our house…..Back then, most people didn’t see the importance of photos with or without people…..Clearly, you were the exception….I really enjoyed seeing our class picture from Bradwell…..We were not able to save that one and it was the most important one….So, thanks for that…..

I would appreciate any new photos or information that you may have e mailed to me….Thank you so much…..

    • Hi Janice,

      Thanks for the kind words.

It really was a rather special time and place, and I only wish there were more images.

How many day-in-day-out places and people, taken for granted then, would have provided quite treasured images today.

I’m always ready to accept images of some general interest and decent quality from readers to add to the site.

Places like the Shore or Chelten Theaters or stores on 71st or 75th or 79th or well-known teachers would be fine additions.

      All the best, old classmate,

      John Chuckman

P.S. If you “subscribe” to this or any other site, you will automatically be notified of new images.
