  1. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong but I am almost sure this structure became the Woodlawn United Methodist Church which was diagonally across the street the Wedgewood Apartment Hotel. I worked at the church in the summer of ’67 (68?) as an assistant to the extremely capable church secretary, Clarice Saunders Jackson. It was my responsibility to mimeograph the Sunday church bulletins on a Gestetner. I’m sure only an extremely smaill number of people in 2019 know what a Gestetner was. Rev. John F. Baggett was the Pastor and a staunch community activist.at that time
