  1. I had an uncle and aunt who worked at this bank. They were siblings. One day the bank was held up while they were both working. I don’t recall the year but will guess it was in the early 70’s.

  2. Intersection had to be one of largest in city…..79th st crosses Stoney Isl. Ave. crosses So. Chicago Ave…… than White Castle on NW corner, and the grand old Sears west of RR viaduct….
